There is no advertising on Out of Town Shopper.
The current position
This site carries no display adverts, no sponsored articles, no advertorials and no paid placements. No retailer, landowner, parking operator, charging network or trade body has paid to appear in or influence any guide. We do not accept free products or hospitality in exchange for coverage.
The site is a small independent project, and its running costs are met by its owner.
If that ever changes
If we decide to carry advertising or sponsored content in future, we will:
- update this page before any advertising appears, with the date of the change;
- label every advert or sponsored item clearly as "Advertisement" or "Sponsored", so it cannot be mistaken for our guides;
- keep advertisers away from editorial decisions, in line with our editorial policy;
- update our cookie policy and privacy notice first if any advertising involved tracking.
